25th Annual All American Car Show 2024!
MOPAR CLUB of SAN DIEGO
Once a year this active Mopar group put on a spectacular car show located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean (San Diego Embarcadero Marina Park), and JBA Speed Shop has been a long time supporter and sponsor of the club itself as well as this always well-attended event. It took place on Saturday, August 3rd, and ran from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and there was plenty to see and experience!
With a steady flow of spectators all day at the show, this event is high-profile in terms of large numbers of the general public being able to view all the various display cars, giving the club members a lot of exposure. Because of the cool and breezy location, and with the Coronado Island bridge in the distance, there's always a special atmosphere and it made for a wonderful and relaxing day to soak up the California sunshine.
JBA salutes the Mopar Club of San Diego Club especially this year for their goodwill in helping the family of the late John DePauw, finish up the restoration of the family 340 '68 Dart convertible! John was a man who was a serious and long-time Mopar lover who was in the final stages of doing his long-term resto, when suddenly he was struck down with cancer, and his memorial wish was to make sure, somehow, the car would get completed and stay in the family. And once hearing about it, members of club eagerly took on the project, with John's wife Carol Ann, daughter Chrissy, and son Brandon forever grateful for their kindness. And the debut of the finished (and running!) beautiful Dart droptop took place on the day of this show. Memorial wish accomplished!
The show itself has Mopars and Mopars and Mopars of course, and also other makes and models fully welcomed to participate. This photo selection is based on showing the various A-body, B-body, E-body cars that were there, and along with the Pentastar fun JBA brought along a couple of choice Mustang and Shelby "for sale" vehicles to augment their display area.
