JBA Coffee and Cars on the Mesa - #175 March 9th 2025 JBA Speed Shop has held many prestigious records over three decades of building bad ass cars and developing cutting edge race car technology. Whether it was the 20 plus years JBA's Dominator held Motor Trend Magazine's skid pad record for street going vehicles, the most horsepower and torque gains ever produced by a CARB compliant exhaust header, or the many records set by JBA equipped vehicles at tracks around the nation- JBA has a history of breaking records and setting new standards. Still, no one could have anticipated that a sunny Sunday in March would see J. Bittle's record for most donuts consumed at Coffee and Cars obliterated by his own grandson. Congratulations to Denton Bittle for recording a new JBA Cars and Coffee record for donut consumption!       

Along with the donuts, JBA's parking lot was filled yet again with amazing muscle cars, hot rods, supercars and a diverse selection of imported and domestic supercars. Smoky burnouts impressed the crowds almost as much as the engine destined for J.'s Shelby did on our engine dyno. JBA's blue printed 487 cubic inch FE made over 620hp and a stump pulling 485 foot pounds of torque- screaming all the way up to 6500 rpm before letting up! No doubt we'll see some records broken in the future once this monster is back in the Shelby and hitting the local roads and strips!
