JBA Coffee and Cars on the Mesa - #176 April 13th 2025

April 13, 2025 In European motorsport tradition- (so pay attention all you would be Carol Shelbys, Pantera owners, dazed and confused Cortina drivers and that one random guy wearing a watch cap in 80 degree weather with that sick Merkur Xr4ti that we keep running in to-) the number 13 is considered such bad luck that races are rescheduled so as not to fall on the 13th day of the month, and race cars that get assigned the number 13 traditionally afix the numbers upside down on their race cars. However, here at JBA there's no such continental superstition hampering our style! Hence this past Sunday, the 13th day of April we welcomed the rising sun and a beautiful spring day as only hot rod enthusiasts, gear heads, and auto aficionados can- with lots of Smokey burn-outs, massive horsepower being made on JBA's engine dyno and a collection of muscle cars, hot rods, and American Supercars that would put any foo foo-scared of the number 13- euro Concourse d 'Elegance to shame. Plus donuts. Lots and Lots of Donuts.
