JBA is celebrating 30 years of bringing high performance to San Diego, and we were stoked to see a ginormous turnout this morning for Coffee & Cars on the Mesa. The parking lots were full by 7AM and the streets around the shop were packed by 8AM. What a great variety of hot rods, muscle cars, rat rods, customs, sports cars, vans, trucks, race cars and more! We only went through 22 dozen donuts and we lost count of the pots of coffee. We were proud to welcome very special guests—the Warrior Foundation (www.warriorfoundation.com) and Freedom Station (www.freedomstation.org). J. Bittle introduced Dennis and Tim who addressed the crowd with a moving story of how rebuilding his Mach 1 Mustang helped rebuild his mind and body after suffering serious injuries while deployed overseas. It was a special moment. Please see the gallery for more of the story, and we’ll see you on the second Sunday of each month this year. Thanks for supporting your local speed shop!
