Well five days for friends and fun at this year’s International Auto Show as we JBA Speed Shop displayed 14 great customer’s cars with a combined total of more than 8000 horsepower (HP). A special thanks to : Greg Smith ‘23 Ford T-bucket Craig’s ’16 Shelby GT350 Edgar’s ’09 Shelby GT 500 Super Snake Pasi’s ‘19 Hellcat Red Eye Tom’s original ’67 Shelby 427 Cobra Cindy’s ’69 Convertible GT Mustang Jim’s ’68 Firebird 400 Don’s ’64 GTO Ken’s ’84 Land Cruiser with JBA LS3 Mike’s ’67 SS Camaro RS Jon’s ’68 GTO Convertible Blake’s ’74 Pantera Bill’s ’67 Grand Prix Convertible Pete’s ’34 Ford Coupe Our new Tire center was a big part of the show as MeltdownTires displayed everything from slicks to Drag Radials to Mickey Thompson ProStreet 18” monsters all for our many various sport customers, including all the Falken Tire lineup including off-road and our JBA Elite Tire Center for the fleet, Cross-over and passenger car tires for JBA folks including the best Michelin Tesla Tires available, all on display. We had opportunity drawings and gave away a lot of fun items from our great vendors, including Falken, Nitto and of course STP restaurant gift certificates! Special thanks to all our friends that helped with security and display monitoring. All the cars and friends and Team JBA members are very evident in the great event photos that follow from Don Cole. In the end several hard weeks of preparation, the show week and a full week of tear down and packing back-up of all our display marketing tools, made the holidays a challenge, but giving back to support this great event and building San Diego passion for what we live for here at JBA Speed Shop makes it all worthwhile, especially finding so many new friends, make the San Diego International Auto Show when we do it, always rewarding!
