Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of jbaspeedshop.com and any order you place through it. Using the site means you accept them.

  • Whether you want a binding arbitration clause and a class-action waiver. We have deliberately left both out — they are common in retail terms but they are a decision for your attorney, not for us.

Who we are

This site is operated by JBA Speed Shop, 5675 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego, CA 92123. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “JBA” mean JBA Speed Shop, and “you” means the person using the site or placing an order.

Using the site

You may use this site to browse our catalogue, place orders, and contact us. You may not use it to interfere with its operation, to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access to anyone who does.

Products, pricing and availability

We work to keep product information, pricing and stock accurate, but errors happen and stock moves. We reserve the right to correct an error, to change a price before an order is accepted, and to decline or cancel an order — including after it has been submitted — if a part is mispriced, discontinued or unavailable. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

Photographs are representative. Finishes, hardware and packaging can change without notice as manufacturers revise their products.

Orders and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we received it; the order is accepted when we ship it. Payment is taken in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax.

Fitment and technical information

Fitment data, horsepower figures and technical guidance on this site are provided as a starting point and are not a guarantee for your specific vehicle. Vehicles get modified, and the same year and model can differ. If fitment matters, call us before you order and we will check it with you.

Emissions and competition use

Some performance parts are sold for racing and off-road use only and are not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles on public roads. Where a part carries that restriction, it is your responsibility to comply with the emissions laws that apply to you, including California and federal requirements. We will tell you what we know about a part’s status, but the obligation to install and operate a vehicle legally rests with the owner.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping terms are set out on our Shipping & Returns page, and returns on our Refund Policy page. Both form part of these terms.

Our content

The JBA Speed Shop name and logo, the photography of our builds, and the text on this site belong to us or to the manufacturers we represent. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Manufacturer names and logos are the property of their owners and appear here to identify the products we sell.

Warranties

Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer, and nothing here extends or replaces it. Except where the law says otherwise, the site itself is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Labour we perform in the shop is covered by the terms we give you on your work order.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from a product or from the use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use, lost track time, or costs of installation or removal. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of the County of San Diego, California will hear any dispute.
