September's JBA Coffee & Cars

 

How a quiet San Diego morning with light areas of fog rolling up and around on our Mesa begins, is always unique. Today we had to check our neighbors and sure enough they had moved off the key parking and street spots supporting Team JBA as another event was about to unfold. After an intense Saturday of house cleaning and setting up the Open House it was time to pull open the doors and flip on the overhead lights kicking of our Anniversary 9-year consecutive event. That is right, nine years! We hosted our first Coffee and Cars on the Mesa in September 2010 here on Kearny Villa Road. We had spent June and July 2010 prepping to leave Convoy establishing our new 16,000 sq. ft. JBA home. Now it was time to share it with our friends. We rocked the 100th consecutive event celebration back at New Year’s, which was really fun, but now we are beginning our tenth-year without a cancellation or postponement. Many a friend has attended and some even write us as they have left the Golden State and miss our early morning solitude as well! So lets get ready and do it again in October.
