On this fine Mother’s Day in Southern California, lots of folks slipped out early to attend Coffee & Cars at JBA Speed Shop in Kearny Mesa. By 7:30 AM, the parking lots surrounding JBA were packed with hot rods, early and late-model muscle cars, sports cars, rat rods and more. It’s cool to have a casual event where “car people” can come out and share their enthusiasm for high performance machinery. The donuts and coffee were good, but the conversation was better.
