The parking lots around JBA Speed Shop were full this morning by 7:30 AM. It’s definitely not just free coffee and donuts that brings out some of the coolest machinery in San Diego County. Vehicles included the blue nitrous-fed small block Nova, the yellow Chevy II, a Ford GT, a Coyote-powered ’63 Falcon and a Coyote-powered Factory Five Cobra, the blue Pantera with a 427w and 180-degree headers, a ZR1 Corvette, the supercharged Vega wagon, Mel’s big block Galaxie, Marc’s 429 Boss Mustang, a lightning quick turbocharged VW, Mike’s supercharged Boss 302, Paul’s juiced Corvette, and many, many more.
