According to our good buddy Marc Bodrie (and there’s no reason to doubt him), Fabulous Fords Forever! debuted as the West’s premier all-Ford show in 1986. This year marked the 28th anniversary of the West Coast’s largest gathering of Ford vehicles and featured over 2,100 cars. The event is presented each year by the Ford Car Club Council and Ford Motor Company at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA and is open to all 1903-present Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. The 100-mile cruise up from JBA in San Diego features a large number of high performance Fords all in a “spirited” driving mode. The oh-dark-thirty weather was foggy but the sun broke through by show time and was perfect for enjoying the many rows of incredible Ford machinery on display. The pictures accompanying this blog don’t really do the event justice. Guess you had to be there! Don’t miss next year’s event!
