JBA Speed Shop was pleased to welcome back the San Diego Region of the Porsche Club of America to a Dyno Day on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Temps were in the 40′s as the session began with hot coffee and donuts provided by host J. Bittle. An eclectic band of vehicles danced on the Dyno Dynamics rollers, including 911′s, 996′s, 944′s, a GT3, a Cayman S, several BMW’s, a Miata and a supercharged Mustang Bullitt. PCA members that participate in track events need to document their power-to-weight ratio each year so JBA provides three dyno pulls allowing average rear wheel horsepower and torque numbers to be calculated…no sandbagging allowed! The only pause in the action was for lunch featuring cheeseburgers, fries and cokes. Everyone had a great time, whether their horsepower was 100 or over 500. Big thanks to Jim and Martin for organizing the event which was run with crisp, German precision! See the pictures for the rest of the story.
