JBA Coffee & Cars on the Mesa - #157 November 12th 2023

 

Veterans Day 2023!

The first Coffee and Cars on the Mesa occurred in September 2010.  That translates into 14-consecutive years of Veterans Day Weekend outings at JBA Speed Shop as occurred this past Sunday.   Our amazing American Flag and our passion for our country allows us every year to honor those who make enjoying our passion for our cars and hobby and profession even possible.

 

“With a deep sense of gratitude and respect we at JBA pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our United States of America yesterday or continue today serving in our armed forces. Their selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to our nation are the bedrock of our freedom and honoring them on Veterans Day.

It is with great pride that we annually and proudly display this entire weekend and at our November Coffee and Cars on the Mesa our flag honoring all customer veterans and friends that are veterans from retired, to active duty to Purple Heart recipients, that need our services including for their own special vehicle needs.

This day is a poignant reminder of the countless acts of heroism that have shaped our nation's destiny. It is a day to recognize not only the valor displayed on the front lines, but also the strength, resilience, and sacrifices made by veterans and their families daily.

In standing in unity this Veterans Day and Veterans Day Weekend , we honor the sacrifices made by our veterans. Their legacy lives on in the freedom we cherish, and their courage inspires us to strive for a better tomorrow. A record attendance went well with over 100 cars and 500+ owners, family, friends, clients, staff enjoying 180+ donuts and 300+ cups of coffee all served by Pamela Lee, with Craig on the sales & tire center counter, Austin opening then going racing, Miguel setting up and J. opening and closing the burnouts down!   All happening over the 4 hours of our early morning dawn to 9:30 rock’n’roll fun open-house gathering.   See ya Next Month for our 160^th consecutive Coffee and Cars on the Mesa, the second Sunday of the month, on the 10^th of December for our JBA fun, including Santa and a Toy Drive for the VFW!    -JBA Speed Shop
