A true classic, this restored Bel Air maintains its originality as evidenced by its award winning Chevy Award History. A judged perfectionist restoration is well documented and shows the level
of detail maintained during the frame off metal work and preparation and paint.
Enhanced drivability from minor upgrades to the induction & brakes provides improved performance. The original V8 with early auto transmission offers reliable smooth operation and yet vintage simplicity.
This car in the 1990's scored 280 of 300 possible points judged original. It was restored by Gene McMichen of Riverdale, Georgia, of Classic Chevrolet judging fame.
The modifications in the past 15+ years have been maintenance including carburetor and intake manifold updates and upgraded power brakes.
