Description: MFor the 4th consecutive year, the U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship runs on the Circuit of The Americas. Competitors from around the world race in 12 different groups and compete for the coveted Bell Racing National Champions helmet. The contemporary TransAm Race Series will once again be a featured group in 2016.
The Motostalgia Collector Car Auction takers place Friday and Saturday nights at the media center. On Saturday, there is a Texas-sized Show and Shine car show which ends with an lap around the COTA track for all show entrants at the end of the day. The Saturday night SVRA party is legendary, with a BBQ dinner, live music, and a fireworks display that is like no other. Charlie Daniels will perform a concert in the paddock, so 10-gallon hats and cowboy boots are a must!
Circuit of The Americas is a 1,500-acre sports complex and is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S. COTA offers sun undulating, 3.4-mile track featuring dramatic, natural elevation changes along with a 133-foot climb up to its signature Turn 1. The 20-turn circuit incorporates some of the best, most challenging turns from other iconic Formula 1 tracks around the world.
